I am very sad about something I have been seeing on the internet. There seems to be some confusion as to the difference between an entitlement program and a earned benefit.
I have been told that my service connected disability check is a form of welfare. In fact, certain individuals have gone so far as to say all veterans administration money is “welfare for veterans”
No disabled Vet would choose not to work in lieu disability payments.These same people think homeless vets are just bums. I am sick over the attitude of some Americans who criticize everything in America and don’t care about the people who provided them with that freedom.
